About the Association

Purpose

This association exists to provide a link to owners of the Prelude Class designed by Ian Proctor and build initially by Rydgeway Marine and later by Pegasus.

As far as we know 300 Preludes were built by Rydgeway Marine and 208 by Pegasus, so we would be very keen to hear from other proud owners and would like to welcome you to join the association.

Membership is free so if you are a Prelude owner join today.

What can you find here

On this site you can find information about the Prelude and get the opportunity to contact other Prelude owners and share tips or ask questions.

There is a forum set up where you can ask questions, give answers, tell stories, chat and get to know eachother.

Don't miss to make use of the gallery to create your own album and post pictures of your boat. (Click here for instructions on how to set up your album)

There is also a knowledge page which we hope to gradually build with more and more tips as you send them in.

How to register

In order to use the Forum and the Gallery you must first register. By registering for the one it does not mean that you will automatically be registered for the other. The Forum and the Gallery are two separate programs and they don't exchange information.  You could use the same user name and password for both, but you must register on each one separately.

When you register for the Forum please fill in the fields: "Boat Name" and "Sail Number". This will enable the administrators of this site to place your Prelude on the map.
